Great with steamed rice and pot stickers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chicken &amp; Marinade<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">12<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz sliced chicken<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">pinch salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp sesame oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">pinch white pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">egg white<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1-3<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS corn starch<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vegetables<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb Asian style frozen vegetables <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; or &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb mixed fresh vegetables: broccoli, green beans, onions, mushrooms, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup chicken stock<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2-3<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS hoisin sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS Shaoxing rice wine (or dry sherry)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp soy sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Slurry<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS corn starch<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS water<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stir-Fry<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">clove of garlic, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp ginger, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nMarinate chicken: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a bowl add <strong>sliced chicken, salt, egg white, white pepper, sesame oil.<\/strong>\u00a0 Mix well and add <strong>cornstarch.<\/strong> Mix to coat well and add more as needed. Set aside to\u00a0 marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Premix sauce: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix <strong>vinegar, Shaoxing wine, hoisin sauce,<\/strong> <strong>sugar<\/strong> and <strong>soy sauce<\/strong> in a small bowl.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Make slurry:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whisk together 1 TBS of <strong>cornstarch<\/strong> and 2 TBS of <strong>water<\/strong> in a bowl.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stir fry:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat a wok to high, add 1-2 TBS oil to the wok and add <strong>chicken.<\/strong> Cook on one side until slightly brown, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes. Break up and stir fry until cooked through, another 2-3 minutes. Remove to bowl.<\/p>\n<p>Add another TBS of <strong>oil<\/strong> to wok and stir fry <strong>vegetables<\/strong> for a minutes or two. Add 1\/4 cup of <strong>water<\/strong> or <strong>stock<\/strong> and cover and cook until <strong>vegetables<\/strong> are starting to become tender. Add <strong>premix sauce<\/strong> to wok and bring to boil. Add <strong>slurry<\/strong> a little at a time, bring to boil to thicken and add more to reach desired consistency. Add more of any <strong>sauce<\/strong> ingredient to taste. Return <strong>chicken<\/strong> to pan and stir to coat.
