Add the <strong>garlic<\/strong> and cook another minute.<\/p>\n<p>Add the <strong>mushrooms<\/strong> and cook 5-7 minutes or until golden and the liquid from the <strong>mushrooms<\/strong> has evaporated.<\/p>\n<p>Add the <strong>butter<\/strong> and melt. Add the <strong>flour,<\/strong> stir to combine and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring continually.<\/p>\n<p>Add the <strong>beef broth, vinegar, thyme, sugar, salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong> Whisk continually until the <strong>gravy<\/strong> is thickened. Cover and simmer on low, stirring occasionally, for 5-10 minutes. Add <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper<\/strong> to taste.
