The vegetables make such a great combination that they are worth making as a side.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">medium onion chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">can (15 oz) great northern, cannelloni or navy beans, rinsed and drained<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">plum tomatoes, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">small zucchini, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1-2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">garlic clove, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup white wine<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp salt, divided<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp pepper, divided<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add a tablespoon of olive oil and the chopped onion to a 3 quart sauce pan over medium heat and sweat just until the onion starts to soften.<\/p>\n<p>Increase heat to medium high and add all of the remaining ingredients.
