Elisha\u2019s in Milford, NH (closed in 2010) served this with ranch dipping sauce.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup AP flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp baking powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp salt <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp garlic powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp onion powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS Parmesan cheese, grated <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup regular or nonalcoholic beer<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups fresh broccoli or cauliflower florets and\/or zucchini slices<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">vegetable oil for deep frying<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup ranch or blue cheese dressing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nIn<\/strong> large bowl, mix <strong>flour, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, cheese<\/strong> and <strong>beer<\/strong> with whisk until smooth. Add <strong>broccoli <\/strong>and toss until well coated with <strong>batter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In deep fryer or heavy saucepan, heat 2 to 3 inches <strong>oil<\/strong> to 375\u00b0F. Fry <strong>broccoli<\/strong> in batches 2 to 3 minutes, turning once, until golden-brown.
