Prep is about 30 minutes, 20 minutes for Instant Pot to come to temperature, 45 minutes to cook, and 30 minutes for pressure to release.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">bag HamBeens\u00ae 15 BEAN SOUP\u00ae<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">8<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups stock or water<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">8<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz diced ham <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">3<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cloves garlic, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">small sweet onion, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">red bell pepper, seeded and chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">stalks celery with tops, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">carrots, peeled and chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">kosher salt and fresh black pepper to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp of ground red pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">dried bay leaf<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2-3<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">sprigs of fresh thyme<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">14.5 oz can petite diced tomatoes, undrained<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">juice of 1 lemon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sort, rinse, and drain dried beans.<\/p>\n<p>In a 6qt Instant Pot or electric pressure cooker, place in all ingredients EXCEPT tomatoes and lemon juice. <strong>Note:<\/strong> add the olive oil last!<\/p>\n<p>Seal Instant Pot and set to<strong> MANUAL HIGH<\/strong> pressure for 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>It will take a few moments to come to pressure and then cook for 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Let pressure release naturally (about 30 minutes).
