Well-seasoned hash browns or tater tots are better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sausage, Egg, &amp; Cheese Burrito:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">eggs, scrambled, seasoned<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">salt &amp; pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">Butter, as required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb uncased mild Italian sausage<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">hash browns or tater tots as required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">onion, bell pepper &amp; <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>jalapeno<\/strong> <\/span>mix, sauteed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">Tex-Mex cheese, shredded<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">12-inch tortillas<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\" style=\"color: #ff0000;\">hot sauce<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Scramble eggs<\/strong> until medium, season with <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper<\/strong> and set aside to cool.<\/p>\n<p>Cook <strong>sausage,<\/strong> set aside.<\/p>\n<p>On warm 12-inch <strong>tortilla,<\/strong> put <strong>eggs<\/strong> down middle. Top with <strong>meat, potatoes, pepper mix<\/strong> and <strong>cheese.<\/strong> Don\u2019t overfill, the <strong>burritos<\/strong> become too big to roll and handle.<\/p>\n<p>Fold in ends of <strong>tortilla\/burrito<\/strong> and roll sides to cover.<\/p>\n<p>Place seam side down in a hot pan to brown lightly.<\/p>\n<p>Serve, refrigerate or freeze as desired.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To reheat:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For one refrigerated <strong>burrito,<\/strong> place on a microwave safe plate and cook for 45 seconds.
