Nowell<\/h4>\n<p>Roast salmon served with roasted garlic potatoes and Brussels sprouts with candied bacon.<br \/>\nPrep: 10 Cook: 30<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb salmon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">12<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz potatoes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">8<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz Brussels Sprouts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz bacon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS brown sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">garlic powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">salt &amp; pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">cooking oil<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prep: <\/strong>Adjust racks to top and middle positions and place a foil-lined baking sheet on middle rack. Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Wash and dry produce.<\/p>\n<p>Trim and halve <strong>Brussels sprouts<\/strong> lengthwise.<\/p>\n<p>Cut <strong>potatoes<\/strong> into \u00bd-inch pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Remove skin from <strong>salmon<\/strong> and cut into 3 to 4 pieces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roast sprouts &amp; bacon: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, carefully toss <strong>Brussels sprouts<\/strong> on one side of prepared half sheet pan with a drizzle of <strong>oil, salt,<\/strong> and <strong>pepper,<\/strong> arrange cut sides down.<\/p>\n<p>Roast on middle rack for 10 minutes, then remove from oven. Carefully sprinkle <strong>bacon<\/strong> with <strong>brown sugar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Return to oven until <strong>bacon<\/strong> is crispy and <strong>Brussels sprouts<\/strong> are tender, 10-15 minutes more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip: <\/strong>Keep a close eye on the <strong>brown sugar<\/strong> to avoid burning! Reduce oven temperature to 375\u00b0F if necessary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roast salmon and potatoes:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Toss <strong>potatoes<\/strong> on one side of a half sheet pan with a drizzle of <strong>oil,<\/strong> sprinkle of <strong>garlic powder, salt,<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong> Roast on top rack for 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove <strong>potatoes<\/strong> from oven and carefully add <strong>salmon<\/strong> to empty side with a drizzle of <strong>oil, salt,<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong> Roast on top rack until <strong>salmon<\/strong> is browned, tender, and cooked to desired doneness, 15-20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the <strong>salmon<\/strong> is done before the <strong>potatoes,<\/strong> remove the <strong>salmon<\/strong> to a plate and put potatoes back in oven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Divide the <strong>potatoes, Brussels sprouts<\/strong> and <strong>salmon<\/strong> between plates.
