This easy Shrimp Parmigiana is great on a hero or a side of pasta. Shrimp Parmesan has been a favorite at our restaurants for decades and will be yours also.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lbs 13-15 shrimp, tails removed, butterflied<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For flour:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups AP flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For egg wash:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">7<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">eggs beaten<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS parsley, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp granulated garlic <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup parmesan cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For crumbs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups breadcrumbs, Italian<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assembly:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">tomato sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">8<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz shredded mozzarella &amp; provolone<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nPrep:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Set up <strong>breading station.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In first position, mix 2 cups <strong>flour<\/strong> with \u00bd tsp <strong>salt<\/strong> and \u00bc tsp <strong>pepper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Second is <strong>egg wash.<\/strong> Mix 7 <strong>eggs,<\/strong> \u00bd tsp <strong>salt,<\/strong> \u00bc tsp <strong>pepper,<\/strong> 1 TBS <strong>parsley,<\/strong> minced, \u00bd tsp <strong>granulated garlic,<\/strong> \u00bc cup <strong>parmesan cheese.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Third is <strong>breading.<\/strong> Pour 4 cups of <strong>Italian breadcrumbs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Coat shrimp:<\/strong><br \/>\nToss <strong>shrimp<\/strong> in <strong>flour mixture.<\/strong> Coat in <strong>egg wash,<\/strong> then press into <strong>breadcrumbs<\/strong> to coat well. Set aside to dish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook shrimp:<\/strong><br \/>\nHeat a pan and add olive oil (about \u00bd-inch) and heat to 300\u00b0F.<br \/>\nFry <strong>shrimp<\/strong> in batches. Set them aside on paper towels to drain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assembly:<\/strong><br \/>\nPreheat oven to 450\u00b0F.<br \/>\nOn a half sheet pan pour 8 circles of <strong>tomato sauce,<\/strong> 3\u20134-inch diameter.<br \/>\nTop each circle with <strong>two fried shrimp.<\/strong><br \/>\nTop <strong>shrimp<\/strong> with additional <strong>sauce.<\/strong><br \/>\nSprinkle with <strong>grated parmesan<\/strong> and top with <strong>mozzarella<\/strong> &amp; <strong>provolone blend.<\/strong><br \/>\nBake for 15 minutes in a 450\u00b0F oven.<br \/>\nSprinkle with <strong>parsley.<\/strong><br \/>\nServe with <strong>pasta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yield: 4 Brooklyn Brothers The Brooklyn Brothers show you how to make shrimp Parmigiana right at home.
