Tossed with tender saut\u00e9ed cabbage, then spooned over jasmine rice and garnished with crispy fried onions and fresh cilantro.<br \/>\nPrep: 5 Cook: 20<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup jasmine rice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp ponzu sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp garlic powder<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">cilantro<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS sweet soy glaze<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>sweet Thai chili sauce<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">5<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp rice wine vinegar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">10<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz ground pork<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz red cabbage and carrot mix (substitute coleslaw mix)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz crispy fried onions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">salt &amp; pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">cooking oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">butter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nCook rice: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wash and dry produce.<\/p>\n<p>In a small pot, combine <strong>rice,<\/strong> \u00be cup <strong>water,<\/strong> and a big pinch of <strong>salt.<\/strong> Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until <strong>rice<\/strong> is tender, 15-18 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Make sauce: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While <strong>rice<\/strong> cooks, in a small bowl, combine <strong>sweet soy glaze<\/strong>, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>chili sauce<span style=\"color: #000000;\">, ponzu<\/span><\/strong><\/span>, and 2-3 tsp <strong>vinegar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip: <\/strong>If you like a sweeter <strong>sauce,<\/strong> stir in a pinch of <strong>sugar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook pork: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat a large drizzle of <strong>oil<\/strong> in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add <strong>pork<\/strong> and <strong>garlic powder,<\/strong> season with <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong> Using a spatula, press into an even layer. Cook, undisturbed, until browned on bottom, 3- to 4-minutes. Break up <strong>meat<\/strong> into pieces and continue cooking until <strong>pork<\/strong> is cooked through, 1- to 2-minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in <strong>sauce<\/strong> and cook, stirring, until slightly thickened, 1 minute more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finish &amp; serve: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stir <strong>red cabbage<\/strong> and <strong>carrot<\/strong> mix into pan with <strong>pork,<\/strong> cook until just tender, 2- to 3-minutes. Taste and season with <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong> Turn off heat.<\/p>\n<p>Fluff <strong>rice<\/strong> with a fork, stir in 1 TBS <strong>butter<\/strong> until melted.<\/p>\n<p>Divide <strong>rice<\/strong> between bowls and top with <strong>stir-fry<\/strong> and <strong>crispy fried onions<\/strong>.
