Everything comes together over a bed of fluffy rice.<br \/>\nPrep: 5 Cook: 20<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">sweet Thai chili sauce<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lime<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz crispy fried onions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS sweet soy glaze<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00be<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup jasmine rice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">10<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz ground beef<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz cilantro<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz green beans<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">salt &amp; pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">cooking oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">butter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nCook rice: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a small pot, combine <strong>rice,<\/strong> 1\u00bc cups <strong>water,<\/strong> and a pinch of <strong>salt.<\/strong> Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until <strong>rice<\/strong> is tender, for 15-18 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prep: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, wash and dry <strong>produce.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trim <strong>green beans,<\/strong> if necessary, cut crosswise into 2-inch-long pieces. Quarter <strong>lime.<\/strong> Pick <strong>cilantro leaves<\/strong> from stems, roughly chop <strong>leaves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook beef: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat a drizzle of <strong>oil<\/strong> in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add <strong>beef,<\/strong> season with <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong> Using a spatula, press into an even layer. Cook, undisturbed, until browned on bottom, 3- to 4 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Break up <strong>meat<\/strong> into pieces and continue cooking until <strong>beef<\/strong> is cooked through, 2- to 4 minutes more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip: <\/strong>If there\u2019s excess grease in your pan, carefully pour it out.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook green beans: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While <strong>beef<\/strong> cooks, in a medium microwave-safe bowl, add <strong>green beans<\/strong> and a splash of <strong>water,<\/strong> cover bowl with plastic wrap. Microwave until tender, 1- to 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> No microwave? No problem! Steam <strong>green beans<\/strong> in a small pot with a splash of <strong>water<\/strong> until just tender, 5- to 7-minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Carefully drain any excess water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finish stir-fry: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To pan with <strong>beef,<\/strong> stir in cooked <strong>green beans, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">sweet Thai chili sauce<\/span><\/strong>, 2\u00bd TBS <strong>sweet soy glaze<\/strong> (be sure to measure), 1 TBS <strong>butter,<\/strong> and \u00bd tsp <strong>sugar.<\/strong> Cook, stirring, until <strong>beef<\/strong> mixture is thoroughly coated, 1- to 2-minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove from heat and stir in a squeeze of <strong>lime<\/strong> juice to taste.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finish &amp; serve: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fluff <strong>rice<\/strong> with a fork, stir in 1 TBS <strong>butter.<\/strong> Season with <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Divide <strong>rice<\/strong> between bowls and top with stir-fry.
