Here&#8217;s how to make it!<\/p>\n<p>Note: Original probably doesn&#8217;t have oyster sauce, but it was quite good and less salty than original.<br \/>\nPrep: 30 Cook: 10<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">5<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups green cabbage, roughly chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups curly kale (stems removed, roughly chopped or torn, then kneaded to tenderize)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">3<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups broccoli florets<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">3<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS neutral oil <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">5<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">large cloves garlic, roughly chopped or sliced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc-\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup water<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS oyster sauce<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nPrep:<\/strong><br \/>\nWash and prepare your <strong>cabbage,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>kale,<\/strong> and <strong>broccoli.<\/strong> Soak the <strong>vegetables<\/strong> in a large stainless-steel mixing bowl of cold <strong>water,<\/strong> changing out the <strong>water<\/strong> 1-3x and letting the <strong>vegetables<\/strong> drain in a colander while you prepare the other <strong>ingredients.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat your wok or large\/deep skillet over high heat. When it starts to lightly smoke, add the <strong>oil,<\/strong> followed by the <strong>broccoli.<\/strong> Cook for 1-2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add the <strong>garlic,<\/strong> followed by both the <strong>cabbage<\/strong> and <strong>kale.<\/strong> Stir to combine, and sprinkle with <strong>salt.<\/strong> Stir-fry, using your wok spatula to mix the <strong>vegetables<\/strong> so they get contact with the hot sides of the wok.<\/p>\n<p>As the liquid starts to dry out, pile the <strong>vegetables<\/strong> in the center of the wok, add a \u00bc-\u00bd cup of <strong>water.<\/strong> If your pan has trouble maintaining high heat, stick to the low end of the range. Cover and let steam for 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add the <strong>oyster sauce,<\/strong> if using. Stir to combine and <strong>salt<\/strong> to taste once again if needed.
