This recipe takes less than 10 minutes to make, and you\u2019ll wish you made a double batch because it\u2019s THAT good! Whether you choose the grill or the skillet, this Cilantro Lime Shrimp recipe is sure to become a favorite in your kitchen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> A double batch just may be a good idea. We both liked this quite a bit. The only question was what should we have for sides? This time it was steamed rice and green beans, but the beans didn\u2019t go so well. Maybe sauteed zucchini or black beans, and possible Spanish rice.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb large shrimp, 21-25, peeled and deveined<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS extra virgin olive oil, divided<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS lime juice, plus more to serve<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS cilantro, finely chopped, plus more to serve<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">garlic clove, finely minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp fine sea salt, plus more to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp freshly ground black pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp ground paprika<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS honey<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lime, cut into wedges for serving, optional<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a bowl, combine 1 TBS <strong>olive<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>oil, <\/strong>1 TBS <strong>lime juice, <\/strong>1 TBS<strong> cilantro,<\/strong> 1 tsp <strong>garlic<\/strong>, \u00bc <strong>tsp salt<\/strong>, \u00bc <strong>tsp pepper<\/strong>, \u00bd <strong>tsp paprika<\/strong>, and \u00bd TBS <strong>honey<\/strong>, and stir together to combine. Add the <strong>shrimp<\/strong> and stir to coat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To saut\u00e9: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat a large non-stick, non-reactive skillet over medium\/high heat. Add 1 TBS <strong>oil<\/strong> to the pan and once the pan is hot, add the <strong>shrimp<\/strong> in a single layer and saut\u00e9 for 1-2 minutes per side or just until cooked through.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To grill the shrimp: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start by preheating the grill to medium\/high heat and soak wooden skewers for 10 minutes to ensure they won\u2019t burn on the grill. <strong>Oil<\/strong> the grates to prevent sticking. Combine the <strong>shrimp<\/strong> with the <strong>marinade<\/strong> then skewer them. Grill for 1-2 minutes per side or just until cooked through.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Season with <strong>salt<\/strong> and <strong>pepper<\/strong> to taste, and then immediately transfer the <strong>shrimp<\/strong> to a serving dish to prevent overcooking.
