With a flavor profile like creamy shrimp scampi, you could use other pastas, proteins, and vegetables to soot your mood.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz broccoli florets<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">12<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb raw shrimp, shelled and deveined<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz angel hair pasta <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS olive oil, divided<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS garlic, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz heavy cream<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS parsley, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">Kosher salt &amp; pepper <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Heat 4 quarts of <strong>water<\/strong> in a large pan. When <strong>water<\/strong> boils, add a strong TBS of <strong>Kosher salt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Broccoli\/vegetable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add <strong>broccoli<\/strong> to <strong>salted water<\/strong> and boil until just tender, for about 2 minutes. Using a sieve or spider, transfer the <strong>broccoli<\/strong> to a medium bowl. Add some cold water to stop cooking and then drain <strong>broccoli.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pasta:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add the <strong>angel hair<\/strong> or other pasta to the <strong>boiling<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>water<\/strong> and cook until just al dente. Reserve 1 cup of <strong>pasta water.<\/strong> Drain the <strong>pasta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Final:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Return the pan to the heat and reduce the heat to medium. Add 2 TBS <strong>olive oil,<\/strong> 2 TBS <strong>butter, shrimp<\/strong> and <strong>garlic<\/strong> to pan. Saut\u00e9 for 2 minutes and return the <strong>pasta<\/strong> to the pan. Add the <strong>broccoli<\/strong> and <strong>cream<\/strong> to the pan. Mix well and add some reserved <strong>pasta water<\/strong> if the sauce is too thick.
