It&#8217;s titled Fettucine, but any pasta would be fine.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">oz fettuccine, (any kind of pasta will work)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">lb shrimp, peeled and deveined, shells reserved.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">packet unflavored gelatin<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bc<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup water<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">5-6<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cloves minced garlic<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">handful of green beans, frozen or blanched.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS butter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Start <strong>water<\/strong> boiling for <strong>pasta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle <strong>gelatin<\/strong> over \u00bc cup <strong>water<\/strong> in a small cup to bloom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shrimp stock:\u00a0<\/strong> Meanwhile, saut\u00e9 <strong>shrimp shells<\/strong> in a teaspoon of <strong>olive oil<\/strong> in a 10-inch skillet. Saut\u00e9 for a couple of minutes until <strong>shells<\/strong> are pink. Add a cup of <strong>water<\/strong> and a <strong>bay leaf<\/strong> to the pan. Bring to a medium boil. Boil until water reaches boil. Pour through a strainer into small bowl. Pour <strong>gelatin<\/strong> mixture into bowl with <strong>shrimp stock<\/strong> and stir well.<\/p>\n<p>Add <strong>salt<\/strong> to taste to pasta <strong>water.<\/strong> Add <strong>pasta<\/strong> and cook until al dente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shrimp:<\/strong> Add a TBS of <strong>olive oil<\/strong> to skillet over medium high heat. Add <strong>garlic<\/strong> and saut\u00e9 30 seconds. Add <strong>shrimp<\/strong> and saut\u00e9 for a minute or so on each side. Add <strong>sun-dried tomatoes<\/strong> to skillet and saute for a minute or two. Remove from heat.<\/p>\n<p>When <strong>pasta<\/strong> is nearly done, add a handful of <strong>green beans<\/strong> to <strong>pasta<\/strong> water and return to boil. Drain and return to pan over medium heat.<\/p>\n<p>Add <strong>shrimp stock<\/strong> to <strong>pasta<\/strong> and <strong>beans.<\/strong> Bring to a boil and stir. Add <strong>shrimp<\/strong> and <strong>tomatoes<\/strong> to <strong>pasta.<\/strong> Add <strong>butter,<\/strong> stir, remove from heat.
