I have no idea how it was seasoned. This is my version. You can substitute for many ingredients. I have also made it with left-over pork tenderloin and it was great.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS vegetable oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">TBS butter<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">large onion, diced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">1<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">green bell pepper, diced (optional)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">3-4<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cloves garlic, minced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups corned beef, chopped \u00bd-inch dice<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">2<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">cups leftover potatoes, hash browns, home fries, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"id-ingredient-name\">salt and pepper to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For seasonings:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp dried parsley <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp dried oregano <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp dried thyme<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"quantity\">\u00bd<\/span><span class=\"ingredient-name\">tsp dried basil<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nFor seasonings:<\/strong><br \/>\nMeasure \u00bd tsp <strong>dried parsley,<\/strong> \u00bd tsp <strong>dried oregano,<\/strong> \u00bd tsp <strong>dried thyme,<\/strong> \u00bd tsp <strong>dried basil<\/strong> into a small dish and set aside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add <strong>vegetable oil<\/strong> and <strong>butter<\/strong> to a large skillet over medium-high heat. When <strong>butter<\/strong> stops foaming, add <strong>onion<\/strong> and <strong>pepper (optional),<\/strong> saut\u00e9 for 3-4 minutes. Add <strong>garlic<\/strong> and saut\u00e9 for 30 to 60 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Add <strong>potatoes, corned beef<\/strong> and sprinkle <strong>seasonings<\/strong> over.<\/p>\n<p>Cook, turning occasionally until hot and crispy on both sides.<\/p>\n<p>Taste and adjust <strong>seasoning.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Serve with toast (and eggs if you like).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yield: 4 Servings Scott Nowell Mom used to make CB Hash every time we had corned beef.
