63 | Heart Fails Him. James H. Kemp, Cambridge Soap Manufacturer, Drops Dead--Was 64 Years Old. James H. Kemp, brother of Maj Horace G. Kemp of Cambridge, and associated with him in the soap firm of Lysander Kemp & Sons, dropped dead yesterday afternoon at the corner of Main and Austin sts. Cambridge. Heart trouble caused his death. Mr. Kemp was 64 years old. He lived at 166 Harvard st. Cambridge. He leaves, besides his brother, Maj, Kemp, another brother, Edwin E., and a sister, Mrs. Lucyann Nowell of Cambridge. 64 | Mrs. John A. McMann, Portsmouth Resident Mrs. Mary L. McMann, widow of John A. McMann died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas W. Kidd Jr., on Oneil Point Road, Portmouth. She had made her home with her daughter for the past 18 months. Mrs. McMann ws born in Taunton, Mass., the daughter of the late John and Rose Anne Masterson Scanlon. She was a Fall River resident for 14 years before moving to Portsmouth. Besides her daughter, Mrs. McMann leaves a son, John N. McMann of Fall River, four grandchildren and two nephews. Funeral services will be held from the C.P. Harrington Funeral Home, Fall River tomorrow. A mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Church in that city. The xxth daye of September Anno Domini 1562, I Adam Wyntrope2 of Groton in the Countie of Suffolk, gentleman and late clothworker and Cittezen of London, being whole of mynde and in good and parfect remembrance, thanks be giuen to almightie god, doe ordayne and make this my presente testamente and laste will in manner and forme followinge; revoking and disannulling all other willes and testaments heretofore by me made, or caused to be made. First I bequeath my soule to almightie God, and my boddie to be buried in the parrish churche yarde of Groton aforesaide. Item, I doe giue to the poore people of Groton xl s. to be giuen and distributed to the most needest where most nede is— interlined by my executors or Administrators. Item I do giue vnto John 18Wyntropp3 my sonne, the leace and whole terme of yeres of my mancion house Wherein I nowe doe dwell, wholy as I haue yt by leace, withall the buildings, Orchardes, gardens, tenements with th' appurtenances, to the saide John, to his heires and assigners. She was born c. 1516 and, surviving her husband, married (2) William Mildmay of Barnes, Springfield, co. Essex.
