  In Fairfield, Sept. 5, Widow Sarah Nowell, aged 89 years and 7 months. she had lived a professed follower of Christ fifty years. The cause of her Redeemer always appeared to be near her heart.— She was in a high degree, what I prize above most characters, a serious, consistent Christian,— ibe ib wgin we ciykd cakcykate wutg great confidence; but she has gone to be judged by Him, who knows all hearts. And although we mourn out loss, we would not bring her back from those blessed abodes of peace and joy, where, we truct, her weary soul now reposes; but rather make diligent preparation to follow her, and join in the song of the redeemed.
