[Abstract, my rough transcription, spelling corrected as necessary for clarity] In the name of God Amen The twenty-third Day of may in the tenth year of the Reign of our Soverign Lord King George over Great Brittain, etc. Anno que Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and twenty and four I John Hathway of Freetown in the County of Bristoll: yeoman: ... item I give and bequeath unto my Beloved wife Christian the use of my house and land where I live during her widowhood item I give unto my wife three cows and my Bed Bed items and furniture belonging to it which stands in my southerly room ... item I give and bequeath unto my son Jacob and to his heirs and assigns half my gristmill and saw mill and ... item I give unto my sd son Jacob and unto his heirs and assigns all my land which Lieth between the Land he now owneth and the lands I gave unto my son Ephraiem item I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac and to his heirs and assigns the other half of my gristmill and saw mill and ... item I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac half my Land ... from Ephraim's Land to the head of the Lot : and aldso two load of salt ...
