I James Fougera [Fougere], aged 22 years, occupation plasterer, do declare on oath that my personal description is: color white, complexion medium, height 5 feet 8 inches, weight 145 pounds, color of hair brown, color of eyes blue, other visible distinctive marks none. I was born in Havre Bouche, Nova Scotia, Canada on the 22nd day of August, anno Domini 1905; I now reside at 46 E Albion St Somerville, Massachusetts. I emigrated to the United States of America from said Havre Bouche on the vessel via rail; my last foreign residence was said Havre Bouche; I am not married...It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince ... particularly George V...of whom I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of Vanceboro in the State of Maine, on or about the 14th day of April, anno Domini 1924; I am not an anarchist; I am not a polygamist...it is my intention in good faith to become a citizen of the United States of America and to permanently reside therein: So help me God.
