In his will ... Thomas Moulton of Ormsbie St. Margaret, yeoman, requested burial in the churchyard there. He left to his son Robert Moulton two mares, one black, the other a brown bay, "one plough full furnished" and two pair of plough traces, two leather horse collars, a plough line and two ringed halters. To his son William Moulton he left £20 ti oaud at age twenty-one. He left twelvepence to each of his godchildren and to his maid servant, five shillings for the reparation of the church of St. Margaret, and twelvepence to the poorhouse in Ormsby. All the rest of the estate was to go to "Johan my wife," who was to be executrix, and he appointed Ambrose Palmer as supervisor to assist her. If Johan died, son Robert wass to be sole executor. Witnesses were Ambrose Palmer and William Greene.
