Gerald L. Todd Sr., 80, of Rice Avenue, formerly of West Shore Road, Warwick, a sales representative for Packings and Insulation Corp., Providence, for 25 years, retiring in 1990, died Friday at Portmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, N.H. He was the husband of the late Edna M. (Leith) Todd.
Born in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, a son of the late Joseph G. and Bessie A. (Wade) Todd, he came to this country in 1925 and had lived in Warwick for over 50 years before moving to Maine 3 years ago.
Mr. Todd was a member of St. Barnabas Church, Warwick, and past member of the King Solomon Lodge 11 F&AM. He was a former member of the Potowomut Golf Club and Bayside Golf Club, both of Warwick.
He leaves a son Gerald L. Todd Jr. with whom he lived; a daughter, Judith A. Todd-Murray of Joshua, Texas; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Barnabas Church, 3257 Post Rd., Apponaug. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
